How to Buy Fine Art Paintings


When you think of fine art paintings, you might think of artists such as Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo or Vincent Van Gogh. One usually can find authentic paintings in the elite house, a little lucky, or in art museums. Type paintings are rare and not easily seen directly. Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo da Vinci back in the sixteenth century. He started painting in 1503 and worked on it until the year 1519. In 1911, an Italian man stole the Mona Lisa from the Louvre. It was recovered and returned back to the Louvre two years later.

Last Supper and other paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, is a large painting measuring fifteen feet by 29 meters. He began painting in 1495 and completed it in 1498. Last Supper is considered a mural. He described the reaction of the twelve disciples when Jesus tells them that one of them would betray Him. The mural is located in Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milan.
